The Willis Tower Repositioning project involved redesigning the base of the iconic building by adding a 5-story, 300,000 square foot retail, dining, and shopping space along with a public outdoor park. The redesign presented challenges due to constraints in and around the structure. Erecting steel for the new space required a great deal of creativity.
